As an incentive to promote volunteerism, volunteers for upcoming H.O.G. events will receive complementary volunteer pins from Centennial Park.

The pin trading system is simple: there are three different pins, indicating different levels of volunteerism.  On the first project the volunteer works with, he/she will receive the first, or Bronze level pin.  The volunteer will also receive a bronze star to place on a slot on the pin.  After collecting five bronze stars, the volunteer receives a Silver level volunteer pin for which silver stars are given for the next five projects.  After all five silver stars are achieved, the volunteer is given the Gold level pin, which can be filled with golden stars.

The pins will only be issued to those volunteers who sign up ahead of time for the event.  The volunteer must work their total assigned duties for the event to be eligible to receive the volunteer pin.
