Service Manager
Manage all aspects of the Service Department operation. Ensure Service associates are well trained and equipped with consultative selling expertise and available when needed. Review work-in-progress to ensure quality and timeliness. Occasionally assist technicians with service work and instruct on new methods of performing tasks in less time. Make estimates for internal and wreck repairs. Minimize come backs by inspecting all outgoing work for completeness, thoroughness, safety, and quality. Establish procedures to process efficiently all customers paid, warranty and internal repair orders. Employ sound management practices to ensure the Service department contributes targeted levels of gross and net profit. College degree or equivalent experience required, as well as at least five years of service operations management experience or progressive management experience and the ability to set and maintain standards. Harley-Davidson technical product knowledge and passion for riding, and a valid driver's license and motorcycle endorsement required. Outgoing, likeable personality and the ability to communicate and relate with broad customer base a must.
Motorcycle Sales Department

Motorcycle Sales Manager - Oversee and manage all operations of new and pre-owned vehicle sales. Ensure sales department contributes targeted levels of gross and net profit and sales associates are well trained, motivated, and executing non-negotiable standards. Set new and pre-owned unit sales goals, as well as daily goals for activity of individual sales associates. Manage the selection, ordering, purchasing, and pricing of new and pre-owned motorcycles. Oversee sales, trade-ins, and delivery of all new and pre-owned vehicles. Several years of progressive management experience within the sales department of a motor vehicle dealership required.
Finance & Insurance Business Manager - Manage the finance & insurance business operational activities. Present strong presentations on all available programs to new and pre-owned motorcycle customers. Offer every product to every customer every time. Produce targeted levels of revenue, profit and product penetration for the dealership. Cross-sell parts, accessories, and ready-to-ride products to customers. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with several finance & insurance sources, Harley-Davidson Financial Services and otherwise. Establish realistic monthly finance forecasting in conjunction with the sales department and Dealer Principal to target a desired level of penetration and income. Provide high value finance & insurance sales to customers using current proactive feature benefit sales techniques and processes.
Several years of progressive experience within the sales department of a motor vehicle dealership required.
Motorcycle Sales Associate - Provide high quality vehicle sales to customers using pro-active, feature-benefit sales techniques. Attain new and pre-owned sales quotas as agreed upon with the sales manager. Develop and follow-through on proactive, outbound prospecting plans utilizing both internal and external sources. The successful applicant must have a outgoing personality, excellent communication skills and strong closing skills.
For all Motorcycle Sales department positions, knowledge and experience with sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them, a valid driver's license and motorcycle endorsement, and a passion for the motorcycling lifestyle and riding community required.
Harley-Davidson Master of Technology
Repairs and customizes both customer and dealer owned motorcycles while maintaining productivity and efficiency. Correctly diagnoses and repairs difficult problems which are beyond the skills of other technicians. Helps other members of the technical team with advice and assistance, as needed. Requires proper completion of paperwork, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and a focus on quality. To qualify, applicant must have completed the current Harley-Davidson PhD online and instructor-led curriculum and have been employed for 60 months at a Harley-Davidson dealership to be recognized as a Master of Technology by Harley-Davidson. Experienced Harley-Davidson motorcycle technicians who do not meet all of the qualifications for Master of Technology recognition are still encouraged to apply.
